About the Artist As well as being a healer, Mojdeh is also an artist and paints under the name of Mojdeh. She paints a wide range of subjects, including flowers, animals, figures, abstracts, and Mandalas. She has been showing her paintings since September 1998. Mojdehs inspiration comes from light, shape and colour. She creates innovative and inspiring modern art, comprehensible to people at all levels. She chooses to paint on perspex, as this gives her the flexibility to use a wide palette, including acrylics, metal paints, gels, oils and silks and in some of her work, jewels are applied directly to the perspex. These are then backed with beautiful silk or rice paper, of a colour that compliments and projects the subject matter for each painting. Her work exudes glorious depth of colour, faultless design and balance which simply flows and speaks to the soul of the beholder. Mojdeh is an ambidextrous artist, often painting this way simultaneously, producing unique unconventional methods which are incorporated into her art. Mojdeh's work is acquired by private clients and businesses, and many paintings are personal commissions inspired after viewing Mojdeh's portfolio and created specifically to give expression to the commissioner's unique essence and aspirations. She is and has been tremendously successful in the short time she has been painting and has exhibited at various venues and galleries.
